Galaxy TabPro S competes directly with both Surface Pro 4 and iPad Pro, and the company claims it is lighter in weight and offers better battery life with fast charging capability in a metal frame.
Samsung has bundled the Galaxy TabPro S with a unique magnetic keypad-cum-cover which features a track pad too. But consumers will have to purchase the stylus separately if required.
The device is powered by a 2.2 GHz dual-core Intel Core M processor with 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD. The memory cannot be expanded further. Running Windows 10 Home, the Galaxy TabPro S offers a 5MP camera on both sides and a 12-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. It weighs 693 grams and is powered by a 5,200mAh battery with support for fast-charging. Samsung claims the battery to last for 10.5 hours on one full charge. With support for 4G LTE CAT6, it offers Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi and NFC among others on the connectivity front.
